I am writing this letter to commend two individuals from your organization who have continually gone above and beyond what is required. If it weren’t for Tommy Whitlow and Greg Tomberlin there would be no way I would have had a foundation started and completed in just a day and a half.

I want them and you all to know that I greatly appreciate the kind of hard work that has been shown to me by Tommy and Greg. Thanks to both of them for a job well done.

Alan McGee had one of his “brickwork artists” come out last Wednesday to fill in the crack with a flexible material and paint over the repair job. He did a great job!

The tech said, based on his experience, that our crack was not a serious problem related to foundation shifting (similar to what your expert and the structural engineer said). He said the crack was most likely caused by the Charlotte area going in and out of drought conditions over the past 10 years. He has seen a lot of houses with similar problems recently and his patching has been sufficient in every case because the material he stuffed in the crack will expand and contract with the impact of weather conditions on the soil under and around our house.

His paintwork blended right in the surrounding bricks so well that our neighbors can’t see where the crack was.

I just wanted to take a few moments to thank you for responding to my email so quickly that resulted in a task that I had to do and I had no idea where to start. Calling you was a wise decision.

In a matter of less than a week, I wrote you an email, you called and made an appointment to come to my home, you looked at the job and the following day you had a crew show up that completed the task to perfection.

I want to express my appreciation for you multiple planning sessions with me and for the excellent execution of those plans by your associates. Bill Stublaski and his team of Matt and Chong acted as true professionals throughout all aspects of the project. When we encountered some unanticipated situations, they provided very helpful advice, and you personally reacted quickly to quote the alternatives we were considering.

The quality of workmanship and the overall end result is very pleasing to me and, most importantly, very pleasing to my wife! I will be happy to recommend McGee Brothers to any friends who come to my home to admire your work.

I wanted to bring to your attention, the absolutely fantastic job that your crew, and specifically Kyle Sechler, has done on our project. Kyle’s crew works very hard, keeps the site cleaned up and communicates well with us on issues and conditions that may affect others.

In difficult times like these, it is very refreshing to have a crew work so hard and never complain! It is very common currently to have subcontractors complaining and moaning about every little thing. Kyle never complains. He is always willing to do just that little bit extra that makes all the difference in a project.

I have now had the pleasure of working with your company for about a year with the completion of my second home this week. I would like to commend your entire organization for it’s integrity, reliability, commitment to the highest quality standards and customer service. Builders are only as good as their trade partners and McGee Brothers has been making me look very good to my peers and customers.

A majority of my work has been with Mike Teal and his team (David, terry, Brian and others), each has consistently demonstrated what I consider to be one of the most important qualities of all “ownership of the task presented to them no matter how challenging”, no excuses. Last week Brian was given the very difficult task of creating a grade pleasing to the eye and at the same time moving potentially large amounts of run off away from the septic field and in a direction nature had not intended. Just this week we had 9+ inches of rain in less than a 36-hour period and it performed perfectly. I along with the homeowners are very pleased.

It brings me great peace of mind knowing McGee Brothers is on the job. I look forward to seeing you guys in a few weeks when we start our next house.

I just wanted to express how happy I am with the performance and attitude of Rodney McGee and his crew, as well as the ability and attitude of Donnie Driver and his crew. Both men and their crews make my job much easier.

I am presently building a house with Robert Ingraham Homes in a new subdivision called Fountain Grove. The lot number is FG20 and your company did the brick work led by Mr. Tom Gatz.

I found Tom to be very professional and yet to be friendly and easy to work with. Even though I am somewhat of a perfectionist I found the entire job to meet or exceed my expectations. Tom supervised his entire crew very well and everyone responded by doing great work and should also be complimented.

Throughout my construction career I have been provided with opportunities to work with companies who have made my job more enjoyable and productive. McGee Brothers is one such company. The understanding of production that your company possesses, the willingness to go the extra mile and a sense of good rapport have been extremely beneficial in solidifying a good working relationship.

I would like to add a special note of thanks to Ray Sizemore and his footing crews. These men have been easy to work with and quick to respond to my needs. Even when the elements did not allow, these men continued to work in an effort to keep up with the production schedule.
